Personal

I was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and spent most of my childhood living in Riviera Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.  My family moved to the Boston area just before I started 11th grade and I graduated from Dover Sherborn High School.

One of my passions is travel.  I’ve visited 49 states (maybe Alaska will be next year) and toured 28 state capitol buildings.  One of my favorite places is Glacier National Park in Montana, where I spent a week hiking this summer.

My daughter, Janet Light, lives in Philadelphia, where she is a mental health counselor.  Janet graduated from Dartmouth College and has a MSW degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

My husband, Rett Bull, teaches in the Computer Science Department of Pomona College.  He is a graduate of Pomona College and M.I.T.  Our household includes Heidi, a dog we adopted, who is a mix of Afghan Hound, Miniature Pinscher, and Poodle.
