The AMH-CARE lab is an intercollegiate collaboration between Pomona College and Claremont McKenna. The lab is led by Drs. Patricia Smiley and Stacey N. Doan. Our mission is to investigate links among interpersonal relationships, self-regulation, and stress reactivity and resilience, with implications for adaptive behavior, psychopathology and health. We take attachment theory and biopsychosocial perspectives, and use a multiple-levels-of-analysis approach, which allows us to understand sociological, familial, and individual level factors associated with successful development and healthy adaptation.

Our current ongoing studies are the ARCH study and the COMET study. For more information, please go to Research.

For more information about the researchers, please go to People.

Our lab is located in the Lincoln Building at Pomona College: 156 E. 7th Street, Claremont CA 91711.
