Pam Bromley is Assistant Director of College Writing and Assistant Professor of Politics and International Relations at Pomona College. In this position, she coordinates the writing center and teaches politics and writing. Since 2009, she has been a board member of the Southern California Writing Centers Association, a regional affiliate of the International Writing Centers Association.
Her teaching uses active learning strategies and process-based writing techniques to help students learn, improve, and solidify their critical thinking and communication, in courses ranging from pedagogy to international organizations.
Her research examines empirically how individuals and institutions are shaped and transformed by new ideas. Her work has been published in a variety of venues, including PS: Political Science & Politics, Across the Disciplines, The Writing Center Journal, and The WAC Journal.
