We welcome collaborations across the Claremont Consortium, including with graduate students and faculty at the 7Cs, as well as those beyond the Colleges.
Pomona students can receive half of a course credit for working in the lab, provided the appropriate forms are filled out before the add deadline each semester. See here for a list of current projects and expectations when joining the lab. No previous research experience is required, however, completion of PSYC 154 Social Psychology, PSYC 180C Climate Change & Human Behavior, Statistics, Research Methods, and/or programming coursework or experience is welcome and encouraged. Positions in the lab are competitive and we’d like to see applicants with strong organizational skills and a strong academic record (typically a GPA > 3.5 or equivalent; > 10.5 for Pomona students).
If you would like to be considered for a position, please email Prof. Pearson with a brief description of your background, including any relevant courses taken or prior research experience, and a short description of research interests that relate to current SCI Lab projects. Resumes are also welcome, but not required.
If you are a current or prospective graduate student or postdoc and are interested in joining the lab, please email Adam Pearson.
