The list of BFS Mammals has just been updated.
There is one new addition to the list:
- Merriam’s Chipmunk (Neotamias merriami)
This chipmunk was captured by a trail cam (shown above). It is probably accidental; there is no eveidence that they are established on the BFS.
There is one name change:
- San Diego Desert Woodrat (Neotoma bryanti intermedia)
This wood rat was formerly Neotoma lepida intermedia.
